"UNIFORMS"

Uniforms: religious, military, "mental" ... are co-responsible of the human disaster and misery. For example: the wars are often caused by the religious fanaticism. The artist wants to underline this aspect provocatively interpreting the religious uniforms: uniforms in this case are devotion or fanaticism? Vocations or opportunism?
Andi Ant is provocative in his first solo exhibition. He's a young Slovene artist, born 1985 Liublijana and lives between Chennai India and Capadocia Turkey. Is provocative to attract attention to the misfortunes of humanity which are so terrible as predictable and perhaps avoidable. The holy wars, past and present, Islamic terrorism but also the Catholic in Ireland, the Lebanon... What is clear that this provocation has nothing to do with faith. But wants to be only a point against of stupidity in all its forms.

"LIBERTE', EGALITE', FRATERNITE' "

With this work I’want to irony on the slogan symbol of the French revolution. I want to underline that not much has really changed with it.
The project of this work consists in  three rectangular metal cages of different sizes containing 4 elements each on the four corners. The first cage contains 4 quails without feathers and without head, the second cage contains 4 rabbits and the third 4 sheeps, all under the same conditions: without hairs and heads. Sees so these animals, wich are not considered particularly courageous and they are essentially preys, are very similar to the people customers. The absence of the head makes the situation more surreal and it is the symbol of not awareness in which the humans live.
The exhibition requests a silent space, light floor and white walls. The cages will be placed on the white structures. During the period of exposure the interior of the cages must be replaced every three days.

Meaning:
The bodies represent the humans.
The cages rappresent the limits imposed by the societies and the religions.
The humans are a composition of meat and other perishable and degradable items. This basic composition is the same for everyone (Egalitè). Societies and religions promise as prosperity and redemption at price of our freedom (Libertè). Live together in these cages we will feel safe and united (Fraternitè).

" LENIN " (project)

The project Lenin consists in a glass reliquary size 40x40x80 cm, with mirror based. The glass of case is 15 mm large and is strengthen by a metal frame for resist to the vacuum of 0.8 bar which the interior of case is submitted to make the appropriate environment to preserve the its inside.
Inside the glass reliquary lies gloriously a chicken devoid of a intestines like  the Lenin body and handcrafted mumified.
The installation is completed by a loudspeaker from which comes the anthem of the Soviet Union.

With this work Andi Ant has used his provocative way to make us reflect, linking its previous projects Uniforms and Egalitè, Fraternitè, Libertè, he irony on mankind can not live without worshipping idols, without gods to idolize,
and how is foolish idolize a chicken....and Lenin....

As in projects uniforms and egalitè, fraternitè, libertè, the focus of the action is the livelling of humans and the security of belonging in the flock.
